The Brave People of Scotland, My Fellow Countrymen,
and The Sons and Daughters of This Noble Land...

They (the English) seized our lands, then they stripped us of our language, and thereafter, they took our young. And yet, despite all, it is we who are still branded as “Savages.” They declared that we had entered into treaties (in 1701, in 1707, and once more in 1772) yet the reality speaks differently: such agreements were not forged in liberty, but in desperation, signed under the shadow of coercion.

Our names (Alba, the ancient Kingdom of Scotland) proved too intricate for their tongues, so they renamed us, silenced our tales, and then proclaimed that we possessed no history. (Stuart House)

They called it a land run; we called it theft. As our homes and livelihoods were auctioned to the highest bidder, there was applause, jubilance at our dispossession. You don our sacred emblems (the Unicorn, the Thistle) upon your uniforms, your banners, your pageantry. Yet never do you bear the weight of our sorrow, nor do you speak the truth of our story.

The Brave People of Scotland, My Fellow Countrymen, and The Sons and Daughters of This Noble Land...
The devil is not attacking you because you are weak. The devil is attacking you because you are a threat. Because there is something valuable inside you. He fears what you could become if you fully step into your purpose.

Let it remind you of who you are and what you are capable of.
We are not an Englishman.
We were never an Englishman, and we don't ever want to be one.
We are a Scotsman!
We were a Scotsman, and we will always be one.
And tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom.

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches that we are fighting, but for freedom and honour. We fight for freedom alone, which no good man surrenders but with his life. A man's duty is to bring glory to his last name, honouring the legacy of his great ancestors.
