Royal Stuart Emblem

The King's Oath

I am Bruce II, by the Grace of God,
King of Scotland, crowned by the Lord above.
Through storm and fire, through blood and stone,
This land is my kingdom, this throne my own.

But I am not alone; you are with me,
My people, my strength.
In your hearts burns the fire of freedom,
Together we rise, victory awaits us.

By the Grace of God, I take this vow,
To protect my people, here and now.
You are my pillars, you are my strength,
For Scotland, through glory and pain.

The Stuart blood flows strong and true,
Yet truth shines in the people’s hearts.
Not throne nor crown delivers freedom,
But your hands and unyielding spirit.

The mountains echo, the valleys reply,
Scotland’s voice thunders across the sky.
One nation, one purpose,
For freedom, no force shall break us.

By the Grace of God, I take this vow,
To protect my people, here and now.
You are my pillars, you are my strength,
For Scotland, through glory and pain.

O people of Scotland, your hope will never die,
No tyrant, no sword will divide us.
In your hands, freedom will live,
In your voices, Scotland will rise again.

No night so long, no defeat so grave,
That can extinguish the light of freedom.
In your hearts, the homeland endures,
With God, Scotland shall be unconquered.

By the Grace of God, I take this vow,
To protect my people, here and now.
You are my pillars, you are my strength,
For Scotland, through glory and pain.

I am Bruce II, by Divine Grace,
But my heart belongs to you, O people of Scotland.
With sword and shield, with hope and faith,
Together we rise, Scotland shall be free.
